Australian hard rocks Wicked Smile have announced their new EP just a week after Australia’s rock princess Cassidy Paris unveiled her debut album! There must be something brewing down there but do not fear, they’re bringing a storm to the UK next month!
The guys first came to my attention upon the release of their debut album “Wait for the Night” back in 2021. Wicked Smile definitely gave me something to smile about. They are old skool heavy rock but still remain refreshing in their delivery. I briefly caught a bit of their live show at HRH last November so I am hoping with them popping back over for some tea and biscuits, I’ll be able to see their full show.
The new EP is titled “Night Time Riders” and is made up of four tracks that I am sure are going to blow everyone away. The guys are influenced by favourites such as Duo, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Skid Row, with the heavy riffs and Danny Cecati’s impeccable vocals, you will not be disappointed!
The EP will drop on November 17th which coincides with their UK show at The Motorsport Lounge in Llandudno (which is Wales). They are doing a run of dates in the UK including appearing at Winterstorm Festival and Planet Rockstock. It’s a very exciting time for Wicked Smile and Cassidy Paris as they tour across our country giving the UK a heavy dose of red rock and I’m sure you’ll be shouting for more!
