Springfest is Back

After a hugely successful first outing in April 2023, Springfest is back by popular demand! The Waterloo Music Bar in Blackpool is set to host this outstanding event, showcasing the best of the upcoming rock scene in the UK. With an amazing line-up chomping at the bit to get on the stage, music fans are in for a treat!

With the doors flinging open at 2pm, the bar serving up tantalising beverages to tingle the atmosphere and I take to the stage to introduce the bands when the lights turn down at 3pm, so let’s take a look at the line up!

Crooked Revival

Self proclaimed brutal blues band Crooked Revival kick off the whole event at 3pm. The guys hail from Leeds and only arrived on the scene in 2021. They have a steady following on socials and released their first EP Back to Freedom in 2022. But lately the band have been tantalising fans with the news of fresh music brewing behind the scenes, are we going to sample a little taster? Crooked Revival hit the stage at 3pm. Check out their music on Spotify now!

Unknown Refuge

Hard rock/heavy metallers Unknown Refuge take to the stage showing everyone exactly what they are made of. Unknown Refuge are a face that I have seen dotted about a few festivals over the years and have even appeared on Kerrang Radio, BBC Introducing and Planet Rock. The guys have recently released a new single called Spearhead Revolution and have dampened fans appetites on socials saying there is more to come. Once again we may be in for a sneak peak or two but I am sure these guys are going to get people’s heads banging. They start melting the stage at 4.10pm. Check out their music, including the new single, on Spotify now!

Heartbreak Remedy

Cumbrian rock n rollers Heartbreak Remedy take to the stage to give everyone a good tea time jive. The guys have been on the circuit for a while but continue to create and perform banging tunes. HR have been doing gigs up and down the country and have a full season of festival appearances waiting for them. First stop is with us here at Springfest and they take the stage at 5.30pm. Check out their music before you catch them on stage on their Spotify channel.

Molly Karloff

Time to change gears and throw in some alternative metal coming courtesy of Molly Karloff! This three piece with “grooves for moves” in their own words, have a staggering following and provide a high octane fuelled performance every time! With festivals clambering to get the attention of these guys you know you are in for a treat. Their latest album, Breaking Out came out in October 2023 so be sure to catch some new tunes as well as fan favourites. Molly Karloff start melting faces at 6.30pm! Hear their blistering music to get you chugging over on Spotify now!

A’priori

Next up is home town boys A’priori! The guys have teased on socials to save the date, 5th May 2024? Is this new music we hear? Hopefully the guys will give us a sneak peak, since they have announced a new album coming out on 1st September and a launch party at the same venue on 6th September 2024! Tony, Mouse and Mark have been knocking around for about six years and have supported big names such as Massive Wagons, Florence Black, and Wayward Sons just to name a few. I’m sure there is plenty more big things in the pipeline so make sure you catch them on stage at 7.40pm! Get ahead of the crowd and start blasting their music over on Spotify now!

Sons of Liberty

Southern Blues rockers Sons of Liberty are the sub headliners for the night. The guys have recently released their new album, The Devil is in the Detail and are kicking off their tour with us at Springfest! The guys hail from Bristol but say their best gigs have been at the Waterloo Bar and can’t wait to take the stage in a recent interview with myself (you can check it out on Thursday 18th April at 7pm on my YouTube channel). Fred and Russ also promise that the crowd is in for a spectacular show and bring all the energy they can! In the meantime, you can check out their latest music over on Spotify and catch the on stage from 9pm.

Collateral

If all of those bands wasn’t enough, it is now time for your headliner! These guys hail from Kent and they came to my attention in November 2019 at HRH. Angelo and I share a love for Bon Jovi and this guy has actually met the legend! In the past I referred to Collateral as being heavily influenced by Bon Jovi and with their latest single Glass Sky, I see their music finding their own style. The guys are releasing a new single on Friday 19th April called On the Long Road but they also have a new album dropping on 24th May 2024 (pre-order here). Collateral have supported legends such as H.E.A.T and Reckless Love and I am sure they are going to grow onto bigger stages but you can catch them from 10.40pm! Get listening to their music over on Spotify now!

Fun Night at the Rock Circuit Music Festival

It’s going to be a fun night filled with some of the best music that the Rock Circuit has bubbling in the underground, just dying to show what they are capable. Once again, a small independent music festival captures the heart of music goers, and taking place in the Best Live Music Venue in the UK (as voted for by Planet Rock), it would be insane to miss out!

Seven bands in one night of impeccable music, with me as your host and only for £27.50 a person! Tickets are still available at the link here and yours truly will be taking care of you for the whole night! Catch you at the barrier!
